DAY #4 in paradise - Tortolla, Monkey Point and Soper's Hole

The sun is setting as we enter Cane Garden Cay to hook up to moorings for the evening on night #3.

It was a gorgeous sunset
We decided to grill steaks and red snapper on the boat, but our grill had other plans and is now swimming with the fishes!  Will pan-fried everything (2 steaks - had been marinated with some flavorful plastic still attached - ha!), and they were delish with salad and potatoes!

Then on Day #4 we awoke to brilliant sunshine, and we were ready to head to Monkey Point on Guana Island, for some outstanding snorkeling!  Unable to find anyone at Cane Garden Bay to pay our $30 to for the privilege of staying there, we took off.  (So we are officially on the lam in the Caribbean.)

Bill and Doug - we seem to have made a clean escape!

Setting up the troweling line to catch fish for dinner?

The seas and sky looked a bit ominous on the ride over, but Will steered us safely!

Monkey Point!  We stopped, had another fabulous lunch and snorkeled. This beautiful cove is one of the top five snorkeling spots in the BVI.

Another view of Lady Margaret from our snorkeling vantage point.

Nemo!

This fish was so amazing - underwater camera can't capture it's beauty!

We saw incredible fish and coral while snorkeling - yellowtail and rainbow parrot fish, and a rainbow of other colored fish.  Bill dove in and saw a large Moray Eel - and needless to say, that was the end of our snorkeling for that day!

Thank you Doug, for insisting I buy a wet suit!

After snorkeling we leisurely sailed to Frenchman's Cay in the West End of Tortolla to Soper's Hole to hook up to the marina for the night.

Top Secret wasn't that - we kept seeing her throughout the V.I.!

We showered and changed and headed out to dinner for the night.

Laughing at RV/Boating bathroom/toilet humor...
Day #4 ended with dinner out and then laughing inside the boat for hours.

Was Bill just talking about  "Masserating?"
