But first - pics from last night and the final sail...
Sad that this incredible cruise is slowly coming to an end, but...we're going to make the most of the 24 hours remaining!
In our "Synergy" robes ready to begin the day with amazing weather, fabulous coffee and yet another outstanding meal prepared by Hannah. Life is good...
Sailing to Highbourne Cay and fishing along the way. Then we'll have lunch there (maybe shop a tad?). Following our stay there, we'll sail up to Rose Island near Nassau for the night. We'll fly home (sadly) tomorrow - taxiing to the airport around 11am.
Off to make the most of the day now - - -
ROSE ISLAND
Highbourne Cay marina - with about 30 nurse sharks hanging around
Coffee before the breakfast then the sail to Highbourne:
Et voila! Gets no fresher than this mahi:
Hannah fileted it:
Dinner tonight: Ceviche and grilled mahi here we come!
Killer lunch at Highbourne at Xuma's! Burgers and Grilled peach salads with goat cheese (oh, and Goombay Smash's and Mango Mojitos as well!)
How about that view!?It's 2:40pm here (Thursday) and we are just now beginning our longest sail toward Nassau after lunch (4-5 hours). Time to read a book or nap until we arrive at Rose Island. It's the first real "down time" we have had in 5 days. Our paradise is slowly nearing an end...
